Livraria Quinta (“we”, “us”) operates the website at scompconfe.yachts and the bookstore at Rua Garrett 64, 1200-204 Lisbon, Portugal. This policy explains how we process personal data under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Portuguese Law no. 58/2019 of 8 August, which ensures the application of the GDPR in Portugal. The Portuguese supervisory authority is the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).

2. Data we collect
- Contact form details: name, email address, subject, and message content.
- Technical data needed to serve the site (e.g. IP address in server logs, browser type) where our hosting provider processes them.
- Cookie preferences stored locally on your device when you use the cookie banner.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Responding to enquiries — legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and/or steps prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Operating and securing the website — legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).

4. Retention
Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to reply and follow up, then deleted or archived where a legal obligation requires longer retention. Cookie preference records on your device remain until you clear them. Server logs are retained according to our host’s standard periods.
5. Recipients
We do not sell personal data. Service providers (hosting, email) may process data on our instructions under appropriate contracts. Transfers outside the EEA, if any, rely on GDPR-compliant safeguards.
